Kimball Family Photographer | Ochoa

Every New Years I make a resolution to share more of my work. To be more present on social media and post more. Honestly though, I think my resolution should be to feel more comfortable being offline. I do not like blogging, I dislike sitting on a computer. I have a busy young family of athletes and a farm full of chaos that takes my attention elsewhere.

But, I do love photography. I love being behind the camera and documenting so many milestones and families growing. I love all my clients, especially repeat ones like the Ochoas. We had so much fun last week in the woods hiking deep into the trees for that gorgeous circle of pines. I love catching up and seeing what the past year has brought and talking to your children seeing how they’ve grown. I love that so many of you have grown to be friends. My favorite part of this session was at the end, meeting all Teagans ducks & just chatting while capturing things that matter most to you. That is what I will be focusing more on this year. To photograph with more intent and authenticity that you will be able to see when looking your photos. That is what I’m excited to share with you in the year ahead.

So if you don’t see me post often, consider this your yearly reminder that I’m still here. I am still taking on sessions and have no plans to put down my camera. I’m excited for the next year ahead and looking forward to spending it with you. I would love to talk more if you are interested in scheduling your next family session.

Port Huron Family Photographer | Turner Family

March 6, 2020

Port huron family photographer

Something you may not realize is, photography has seasons of busy. By busy, I mean nonstop shooting, barley take a break, forget what your family looks like busy. This generally happens May-December. By the end of that busy season I am EXHAUSTED. Luckily for me, months January-April tend to be slower and I can catch my breath. After few months of rest, I miss sharing my work and showing off the beautiful families I get to capture. Since it’s almost the first day of spring I figure it’s time to start posting again. What better place to start than with the Turner family!

Heather is a local photographer at Miss B Photography  & I always am so honored when another photographer trusts me with their family photos. Especially when there are so many great choices. (Thank you Heather!)

Her idea for the session was to show off our beautiful downtown Port Huron and capture the festive lights strung between businesses for her Christmas cards. I had the perfect location & the rest fell into place perfectly. Well, almost perfectly. Once we arrived to the location the lights weren’t on yet and we were on top of a building where it was windy and freezing but I digress. Eventually everything worked out and I am excited to show you the moments of joy & fierce love the Turner’s share.

If you are interested in updating your family photos this year I would love to talk more. The earlier we plan the better! Prime weekend dates are limited and booking fast. Drop me a message & say hello!

Clyde Family Photographer | Hill Family

May 23, 2018

Family PhotographerThe Hill Family recently added the sweetest new addition to their family. Mason Frederick. Another adorable little redhead baby like his older brother Lane. Ashley and Kyle are one of those couples that I’ve known for forever. I’ve watched their relationship grow and got to be there for the most important milestones. Engagement session to the Wedding and then becoming mom & dad.

This is the kind of relationship I would love to form with all my clients. To be there for the big milestones and everyday moments. To become friends instead of having just a business relationship. If that’s something you’re interested in too, I would love it if you reached out and sent me a message so we can talk more. Let’s plan your future sessions!
